Spaced Repetition Cards
Create questions and answers you want to revisit. Choose a local calendar date, reveal the answer before recording your recall, and see when each card will be due next. The schedule is recalculated from the saved event history, so an exported deck reproduces the same result. New cards enter the due queue immediately; suspended cards keep their history but leave the queue.

- Four explicit recall grades with a bounded day-based schedule derived from the review log
- Due, new and suspended card states separated without a hidden score or account
- Question-first practice that reveals the answer before rating
- Per-card dated history, next due dates and a clear-history reset
- Strict versioned JSON deck import/export and spreadsheet-safe CSV history
- Browser-local editing with no automatic save or upload

Frequently asked questions
How is the next date calculated?
This tool uses a fixed teaching rule, not a named commercial algorithm. Again resets the streak and schedules 1 day. Hard grows the prior interval by 1.2 with a 1-day minimum. Good uses 1 day for the first successful review, 3 days for the second and then 2.2 times the prior interval. Easy uses 3 days for the first review and then at least 4 days or 2.8 times the prior interval. Fractions round up; the interval is capped at 3,650 days. Each due date is added to the entered review date using calendar days.
Can I study early or enter two results on one day?
Yes. A review may be earlier than its current due date and multiple reviews can share one day. Each result reschedules from the date you enter. A result earlier than that card's latest review is rejected to preserve chronological history.
What happens when I suspend or clear a card?
Suspending removes a card from the queue while retaining its history and due date. Resuming restores it to the queue if due. Clearing a card's history is a confirmed deletion of its reviews and makes it new again. Deleting a card also deletes that card's reviews.
Are my cards stored automatically or uploaded?
No. This tab keeps your deck in memory only. Download the version 1 JSON deck before leaving; CSV is a report, not a restorable deck. The tool does not upload card contents.
What does import accept?
Only strict UTF-8 version 1 JSON with valid card IDs, referenced reviews, real ISO dates and chronological per-card history. Invalid, oversized or duplicate-key input leaves the current deck unchanged.
Privacy
Card text and recall history stay in this browser tab. There is no account, automatic backup or upload. You control JSON and CSV downloads; review their contents before sharing.
