Frequently asked questions
Does this certify EPUB Accessibility or PDF/UA conformance?
No. It checks selected static structure signals. A person must review actual reading order, alternative-text meaning, tables, forms and assistive-technology behavior.
Can it automatically verify PDF reading order?
It reads exposed tag trees and selected roles, but cannot decide whether columns and tables match visual and spoken order.
What EPUB content is supported?
A bounded EPUB 3 ZIP is inspected for OPF, spine, TOC nav and selected XHTML attributes. EPUB 2, script execution, remote resources and CSS rendering are unsupported.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read locally and links within it are not visited. Saved JSON may include the title and short excerpts.
Privacy
Files are analyzed in browser memory only; they are not uploaded and URLs inside publications are not visited. Exported JSON may contain the title and short text excerpts.
