vCard Address Book Editor
Open a local VCF or paste several vCard 4.0 records, edit their supported fields, and review potential duplicates before choosing which contact survives. A merge only runs after you choose the primary and confirm its preview. This differs from the site's QR generator, which emits one simple vCard 3.0 QR, and the QR scanner, which only displays extracted fields.
Key features
- Strict UTF-8 import of up to 50 vCard 4.0 contacts, including folded lines
- Edit formatted and structured names, organization, title, note, multiple phones and email addresses
- Find duplicate candidates by shared email, normalized phone or matching name

Frequently asked questions
Which vCards can I import?
This editor accepts a strict RFC 6350 vCard 4.0 subset: FN, optional five-part N, UID, ORG, TITLE, NOTE, repeated TEL and EMAIL. Unsupported properties or parameters are rejected so they cannot be silently lost.
Can it read vCard 3.0 from the QR generator?
No. The QR generator makes a single vCard 3.0 QR. This editor requires VERSION:4.0 and handles multiple contact records with strict field validation.
Will candidates merge automatically?
No. Shared email, phone or name only suggests a pair. You choose the primary contact, review which fields win, and press Confirm merge. The original list remains until then.
What happens to conflicting fields?
The chosen primary keeps nonempty formatted name, structured name parts, organization and title. Missing parts are filled from the secondary. Distinct phone and email values are united, while distinct notes are joined with a blank line.
What are the import limits?
Input and output are limited to 128 KiB, 50 contacts and 20 phone or email entries per contact. File bytes must be valid UTF-8. Pasted LF lines are accepted for browser textarea convenience; export uses CRLF.
Does it access my device contacts or upload the file?
No. It only reads a VCF file you select or text you paste. It does not request contacts permission, make a remote contact request or sync an account.
Privacy
Contact data stays in this browser tab's memory. Files are read locally and no contact account, address book API or remote endpoint is accessed. Copying or downloading occurs only when you request it.
