Frequently asked questions
Will emoji break into pieces?
The tool uses the browser’s Intl.Segmenter. Emoji sequences, flags, and combining characters supported by that browser remain together.
How do the line modes differ?
Each-line mode keeps line positions and reverses their characters. Line-order mode keeps each line’s contents and reverses the order of the lines.
Is a final newline preserved?
The two line modes preserve a final newline. All-characters mode reverses newline positions too, so a final newline can move to the beginning.
Does this mirror the letter shapes?
No. It changes character order rather than visually reflecting letters. Line endings are normalized to LF.
