How to use
- Choose a photo or open the geometric illustration.
- Select dimensions, zoom and horizontal/vertical framing.
- For general photos, clean the background and restore regions as needed.
- Position the crown and chin lines to inspect their distance.

- Print the PDF at Actual size/100% and measure the result.

Frequently asked questions
Can I submit the result as a passport photo?
The tool does not certify acceptance. Korean requirements include 35×45 mm dimensions, a 32–36 mm crown-to-chin distance and no digitally removed or replaced background. The passport reference preset disables background edits, but you must still check the original photo and all other requirements.
How does this differ from resizing and cropping?
It connects photo framing with manual head-length guides, general-photo background cleanup and multiple copies placed at specified millimetre dimensions in a PDF.
Does it automatically remove a complex background?
It only clears similar colours connected to the four corners. It does not recognize people. Use the manual brush or prepare a general photo with the separate background-removal tool when needed. A replaced background is unsuitable for the Korean passport preset.
Can I use the brush with a keyboard?
Enter horizontal and vertical percentages, choose radius and erase/restore, then apply. You can undo the last point or restore the original background. Changing the crop clears points because their coordinates refer to the previous framing.
Will PNG print at the correct physical size?
PNG is generated at 413×531 or 354×472 pixels using a 300 dpi calculation. Print software may apply a different scale. Prefer the PDF with specified photo dimensions, print at Actual size/100%, and verify with a ruler.
Are photos or examples uploaded?
No. An uploaded file and the original geometric example pass through the same file checks and image decoding before local Canvas processing. The illustration is a demonstration rather than an identity photograph.
Privacy
Photos stay in this browser’s memory and Canvas. They are not uploaded or saved automatically. Background cleanup runs locally without downloading an AI model or sending photo content. Files are created only when you download PNG or PDF.
