What is Image Watermark?

An image watermark overlays text or a logo semi-transparently onto a photo to mark copyright and prevent unauthorized use. It stops images posted to blogs, social media, or online stores from spreading without credit, while naturally exposing your name, brand, or website for extra promotion. This tool handles a single photo or dozens at once, applies the same watermark in bulk, and lets you download everything as one ZIP file.

Its biggest advantage is that everything runs entirely inside your browser. Because photos are never uploaded to a server, you can safely watermark private pictures or unreleased product images with no sign-up or payment. It offers 9 position presets and free drag placement, opacity/rotation/size control, and even a powerful diagonal tile mode that covers the whole photo — all for free.

Key Features

Text & Logo Watermarks

Supports text watermarks with content, font, size, color, and rotation, plus image watermarks by overlaying a PNG/SVG logo.

9 Positions + Free Drag

Place it fast with 9 presets (top/middle/bottom × left/center/right), or drag it directly on the preview to put it anywhere you like.

Diagonal Tile Anti-Theft

Repeats the watermark across the entire photo so it's hard to crop or erase — a strong mode for protecting copyright.

Batch → ZIP Download

Upload many photos at once, apply the same watermark in bulk, and download them all as a ZIP while keeping the original resolution.

How to Use

  1. Upload images — Drag and drop or click to add one or many photos you want to watermark.
  2. Choose text or logo — For text, set the content, font, and color; for a logo, upload a PNG/SVG image.
  3. Adjust position, tile & opacity — Place it with a preset or by dragging, then tune diagonal tiling, opacity, rotation, and size in the live preview.
  4. Pick output format — Choose PNG/JPG/WebP and quality. The original resolution stays intact.
  5. Download — Save a single image instantly, or download multiple images with the same watermark in one ZIP.

Use Cases

Photographers & Illustrators

Add your name or signature to portfolio and artwork images to deter unauthorized use and make the source clear.

Online Stores & Product Photos

Tile your brand logo and domain over product images to stop competitors and resellers from stealing your photos.

Bloggers & Social Media

Add your channel name to blog and Instagram photos so the source travels with them as they get shared.

Documents, Mockups & Sample Images

Cover proofs with a diagonal-tiled 'SAMPLE' or 'CONFIDENTIAL' mark to block unauthorized use during the draft stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. All watermarking happens inside your browser using the HTML5 Canvas. Neither the original photos nor the results are sent to any external server, so you can safely watermark private or confidential images.

Can I apply the same watermark to many images at once?

Yes. Drag and drop multiple images and the text or logo watermark you set is applied identically to every photo. When finished, they all download as a single ZIP file. Because everything runs in your browser, there is no per-batch limit like the typical 10-image free cap.

What is the tile / diagonal mode?

It repeats the watermark diagonally across the entire photo for strong anti-theft protection. Cropping or erasing a single corner won't remove it, which makes it ideal for artwork and product photos where copyright protection matters.

Can I move the watermark freely?

Yes. Choose one of the 9 position presets (top/middle/bottom × left/center/right), or drag the watermark directly on the preview to place it anywhere. Edge margin, rotation, size, and opacity are all fine-tuned with sliders.

Will the original quality or resolution be reduced?

The watermark is drawn on a canvas at the same resolution as the original, so the size is not reduced. Saving as lossless PNG keeps quality intact, while JPG/WebP let you balance file size and quality with a quality slider.

What file works best for a logo watermark?

A PNG or SVG logo with a transparent background is recommended, since transparency lets it sit naturally over the photo. After uploading you can adjust its size, opacity, and position, and like text it can be repeated in tile mode too.

Privacy Notice

Your uploaded photos, logos, and watermark settings are all processed only inside your browser and are never sent to any server. Result images are saved to your device only when you download them yourself, and only settings like the watermark text and color are kept in your browser (localStorage) for convenience on return visits. This means you can safely watermark private or unreleased images.
