URL Slug Generator
Prepare a blog title or document name for the last segment of a web address. This tool normalizes compatibility characters and accents, lowercases letters, and replaces punctuation and path separators with hyphens. Choose Unicode for multilingual titles or ASCII for simple identifiers. Paste the title rather than a complete URL, because a whole address would become one slug.

Frequently asked questions
Does it translate titles into English?
No. Unicode mode preserves letters; ASCII mode removes non-ASCII letters. It does not translate or transliterate.
How is this different from URL encoding?
It first changes the title into a normalized lowercase slug. Use a URL encoder when you need the original value to remain recoverable.
Can I change the address of an existing page?
This tool only generates text. Manage existing links and redirects separately before changing a published address.
Will the slug be unique?
Uniqueness is not checked. Check for an existing path in your CMS before publishing.
