Citation Manager
Enter your own bibliographic records, save them as CSL-JSON and import them again later. A real CSL processor reads pinned, licensed APA 7, Chicago author–date and IEEE styles to produce both in-text citations and sorted bibliography entries. You supply the source metadata; this tool neither looks up DOIs nor checks whether a publication exists.

Frequently asked questions
Does this include every current APA, Chicago and IEEE rule?
It uses pinned 2021 official CSL style snapshots. Later style revisions are not automatically included. Compare output with the latest journal or institution requirements before submission.
How are works by the same authors in the same year distinguished?
When the chosen CSL style requires it, the processor assigns matching year suffixes such as 2020a and 2020b to both in-text citations and bibliography entries.
Does it find publication titles or DOIs automatically?
No. It neither looks up nor invents sources. It formats only the metadata you enter or import. Verify authors, date, title and DOI against the publication.
Can I upload any CSL style?
Only three verified styles are currently selectable. Arbitrary CSL XML uploads and the latest full CSL feature set are not supported.
Are my records uploaded?
No. Record files are read in this browser tab. Only the processor and style/locale assets are downloaded from this site.
Privacy
Records and files stay in this browser tab's memory. The CSL processor, style files and locale data are downloaded from this site, but the bibliographic records are not sent to the server. Saving downloads CSL-JSON or plain text to your device.
