Frequently asked questions
Can I place fields on an existing PDF?
This version creates a new blank A4 or US Letter PDF only. Importing or uploading an existing PDF is unsupported.
Are required and maximum length enforced in every reader?
The PDF contains field flags and MaxLen. Reader input and submission behavior varies. No JavaScript or custom regex validation is embedded.
Does tab order mean the PDF is fully accessible?
Widgets are created in the chosen order per page and /Tabs /A is written. This tool does not generate a tag tree or Form structure tags, so PDF/UA conformance and every reader's tab behavior are not guaranteed.
Can names or initial values contain Korean?
The PDF uses a standard Helvetica appearance, so names, choices and initial values are limited to printable ASCII. Korean entry appearance in the generated PDF depends on the reader's fonts.
Can I create a read-only field?
Yes, for single-line or multiline text with an initial value. Read-only checkboxes, radio and dropdown fields are unsupported.
