Research Evidence Matrix
Record each source's title, authors, year, link, method and limitations, then add the claims you are reviewing. Each evidence entry connects one source and one claim with a supporting, challenging or mixed stance, a page/table locator and an interpretation note. The matrix flags claims with no source, missing locators or methods/limitations, and claims with both supporting and challenging entries. It does not read papers automatically or judge whether a claim is true.

Frequently asked questions
Does this read PDFs or source links automatically?
No. You enter the source information and locators. External source URLs open in a new tab only when clicked.
How are unsupported claims marked?
A claim with no evidence entry is marked No source, with a jump link to its claim card.
What counts as conflicting evidence?
A claim with both supporting and challenging entries is flagged for review. This does not judge study quality or decide the conclusion.
Can I trace an exact source location?
Each entry stores a page, table or figure locator. The matrix links to its source card and URL. Jumping to an exact PDF page depends on the source site and is not guaranteed.
Is my project saved automatically?
No. It stays in current-page memory. Download the editable JSON and import it later to continue.
