What is the Personality Type Test?
This personality type test builds on four scales rooted in Carl Jung's psychological typology — energy direction (Extraverted E / Introverted I), information intake (Observant S / Intuitive N), decision-making (Thinking T / Feeling F), and lifestyle (Judging J / Perceiving P) — to find which of the 16 types fits you best. It takes about 3 minutes across 24 questions, free with no sign-up.
Your result includes percentage graphs for each of the four axes plus a detailed profile: personality traits, strengths, growth areas, love style, work style, best-match types, and career fits. Results are shareable by link, making it easy to compare types with friends and partners. All answers and calculations stay inside your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

Understanding the Four Scales
Your 4-letter code combines the dominant letter from each of these four scales.
What Each Scale Means
| Scale | Left preference | Right preference |
|---|---|---|
| Energy direction | E Extraverted — recharges with people & activity | I Introverted — recharges in solitude |
| Information intake | S Observant — facts, experience, details | N Intuitive — meaning, patterns, possibilities |
| Decision-making | T Thinking — logic and consistency | F Feeling — people and values |
| Lifestyle | J Judging — plans, order, closure | P Perceiving — flexibility and open options |
Each scale is a continuum, not a binary. Axes near 50% can swing either way depending on the situation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the MBTI test?
No. This is an independently built free self-assessment inspired by Carl Jung's typology and the widely known four-scale system (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P). MBTI® is a registered trademark of The Myers-Briggs Company, whose official instrument is administered by certified practitioners. This test is unaffiliated and intended for fun and self-understanding.
How accurate is the result?
Self-report accuracy depends on honesty: answer as your everyday self, not the self you'd like to be. No personality test can fully capture a person, so treat the result as a starting point for self-understanding rather than a verdict.
I get slightly different results each time.
That's normal. If an axis sits near 50%, your letter can flip with mood and context. Check the percentage graphs to see which axes are firm and which are borderline — for borderline axes, reading both types' profiles is genuinely useful.
Is my type fixed for life?
No. Innate temperament is fairly stable, but how preferences express themselves shifts with experience and effort. It's common for the J/P or T/F axes to move as work experience accumulates. Retesting after a few years makes an interesting comparison.
How do I share my result?
Press Share Result Link on the result screen and a link containing your type is copied. Friends who open it see your nickname, profile, and matches — and can start their own test with one tap. Perfect for type-comparison games in group chats.
