Which keyboard layout does it use?

How is the conversion direction decided?

What happens to numbers, spaces, and symbols?
Characters that have no Hangul jamo mapping on the Dubeolsik layout — numbers, spaces, periods, brackets, and the like — pass through unchanged. So you can convert long, multi-line text full of punctuation in one go while preserving its structure.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. All conversion happens entirely inside your browser, and nothing you type is uploaded or stored on any server. Even if sensitive text like a password note came out garbled, you can recover it safely.
Why is the result sometimes inaccurate?
The tool converts mechanically based on key positions. So converting text that was already typed correctly in English or Korean can produce meaningless characters. Also, when jamo are cut off in a way that breaks the combination rules, some characters may remain as standalone letters (ㅎ, ㅏ, etc.). In that case, try switching the direction or cleaning up part of the original text and converting again.
