Perspective Mockup Studio
Place a local artwork image onto a four-corner surface in another image. The tool computes a projective mapping, blends transparency and keeps the surrounding photo unchanged. Move the corners visually or enter exact coordinates, then download the composite PNG. This is a flat-plane mockup, not object-aware relighting or occlusion detection.
Key features
- Projective four-corner mapping rather than a simple rotation or frame
- Drag or type top-left, top-right, bottom-right and bottom-left coordinates
- Alpha-aware interpolation and adjustable artwork opacity
- Self-crossing or collapsed quadrilateral rejection
- PNG composite and JSON placement settings
How to use
- Load the example or choose a background photo and artwork image.
- Set four corners in top-left, top-right, bottom-right and bottom-left order on one flat surface.
- Adjust the artwork opacity and generate the composite.
- Inspect the result and download the PNG or JSON coordinates.
Use cases
- Preview a label on a photographed flat package panel
- Place a poster design on a wall plane
- Show a screen design on a photographed display
Frequently asked questions
Does this account for shadows or objects in front of the artwork?
No. It maps artwork to a flat quadrilateral and blends existing alpha. It does not infer occlusion, surface curvature, reflections or scene lighting.
Which corner order should I use?
Top-left, top-right, bottom-right, bottom-left as seen on the target plane. Crossed or concave shapes are rejected.
Will transparent pixels in the artwork remain transparent?
Yes. The compositor interpolates alpha before applying the opacity slider, so the photo shows through transparent regions.
Why might a large image be smaller in the output?
Source files must fit the decoder limit of 4096 pixels per side and two million pixels. Accepted images larger than the 1000-pixel-side, one-million-pixel editing workspace are then scaled down proportionally.
Does the settings JSON include my images?
No. It stores output dimensions, point coordinates and opacity, not the source image bytes.
