What is the GIF Maker?

The GIF Maker is a free online tool that combines several images (JPG, PNG, WebP and more) into a single animated GIF. Just add burst photos, screen captures, or illustration frames in order and you get a smoothly playing animation. You can control frame speed, loop count, playback order, output size and color quality to craft exactly the GIF you want.

There is no software to install and no signup required, and the finished GIF carries no watermark. Most importantly, every step from uploading photos to encoding the GIF happens entirely inside your browser, so your images are never sent to a server. That makes it safe to build GIFs from personal photos for social profiles, messenger stickers, or blog posts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server? Is it safe?

No. Your photos and the GIF encoding are processed entirely inside your own browser (device). Nothing is uploaded to or stored on a server, so you can safely use even private photos.

Will the GIF have a watermark?

Never. A completely clean GIF is created with no signup or payment, and you can download it right away. It is free for commercial use too.

Which image formats can I upload?

You can upload most browser-supported formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP, and you can mix different formats in one batch. (For iPhone HEIC, convert it to JPG/PNG first with the Image Converter tool.)

Can I control the speed and loop count?

Yes. Adjust the global frame speed with a slider, or set a per-frame delay (ms) individually. The loop can be set to infinite or to a specific number of times.

Can I reorder frames or remove some of them?

You can freely change the playback order by dragging thumbnails or using the up/down buttons, and remove unwanted photos with the X button next to each frame.

Does it work on mobile like Galaxy or iPhone?

Yes. It runs right in the mobile browser with no app install. Pick multiple photos from your gallery, build the GIF, and save it directly.

Privacy Notice

Your uploaded photos and the generated GIF are processed only within your browser, and no data is ever sent to or stored on a server. Closing or refreshing the page clears your work, so you can safely use even private photos.
