What is the Balance Game?
The balance game — known as "Would You Rather" — asks you to pick between two options that are equally hard to give up, like "no fried chicken for life vs no pizza for life." This page offers 120 curated questions across six categories (food, love, daily life & travel, extreme choices, work & school, fantasy) with no sign-up or install. Each round serves 10 random questions, and you can share any question by link so friends answer the exact same one.
The duo match test mode lets two people answer the same 10 questions in turn, then reveals how much their choices overlap as a percentage with a grade from Soulmates to Polar Opposites. Use it as a couple compatibility check, a friendship test, an icebreaker for team dinners and retreats, or conversation fuel on a first date. Everything runs in your browser and no answer is ever sent to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many questions are there?
There are 120 questions total — 20 in each of the six categories: food, love, daily & travel, extreme, work & school, and fantasy. Each round randomly draws 10 from your chosen category, so every playthrough feels different.
How does the duo match test work?
In duo mode, player 1 answers 10 questions, then a hand-off screen appears. Player 2 answers the same questions in the same order, and the game reveals your match percentage, a grade (Soulmates, Perfect Pair, Solid Duo, Learning From Each Other, Polar Opposites), and per-question comparison. One device is all you need.
Can I share a question with friends?
Yes. Press the share button next to any question during play or on the results screen and a direct link is copied. When a friend opens the link, their game starts with that exact question — great for polling the group chat.
Can player 2 see player 1's answers in advance?
No — player 1's choices are hidden during play and only revealed on the results screen after player 2 finishes. Of course, if they watched over your shoulder they might remember, so for a serious match we recommend not peeking while the other person answers.
How should I run it at a party or team dinner?
The liveliest format: a host shows the screen and reads each question, and everyone votes by raising hands or moving to sides. Add a rule where the minority side explains their choice (or takes a small penalty) and the ice melts fast. Extreme and food categories work best with new groups.
Are my answers stored anywhere?
No. All choices and the match calculation happen in browser memory only and are never transmitted. Refreshing the page clears the round, so screenshot any result you want to keep.
